On their own, wood baskets can be difficult to deal with in large quantities. A basket or two on the checkout counter with some useful sundries can make for a nice impulse buy display, but if you plan to have a lot of baskets, you will probably want to purchase a wood basket display rack or stand. Use a three or four shelf basket display against a wall, or put a bushel basket tree display in the middle of your sales floor with baskets on every side.

Retailers who work in vacation areas may find these displays particularly useful. Why? Vacationers purchase lots of sundries—small miscellaneous items like Chapstick, sunglasses, lotions, caps, and so on, which are perfect for putting in wood baskets. They don’t have to stay neat and organized, and many buyers will find more than one item that they want to purchase while they are looking through the baskets.
