When you try to show off your jewelry without display stands of some sort, you can have a pretty tough time keeping the jewelry looking neat and organized, and not getting mixed together. It is much easier to visually see jewelry that has been neatly displayed on a stand or inside a case. On top of that, customers also have an easier time visualizing the piece as it would look if it were on a real person. A necklace display stand or bracelet display stand show what jewelry would look like if it were worn, on a clean black or white backdrop. Ring displays are great for transporting and organizing your collection of rings and showing them off nicely. Earring display cases allow you to keep small, dangly items organized. Without a case this can be quite challenging to manage.

Which color should you choose? That probably depends on the piece you are trying to show off. In most cases, lighter color jewelry will show up more dramatically against a black backdrop, while darker color jewelry will show up better against a white backdrop. It is all up to your and your aesthetic sensibilities though as far as what you think looks best with your style of work. The nice thing about black and white is that they are both neutral colors, which makes them easy to pair together without looking out of place.
