The second way that plastic bins with lids can help you out is by making it easier to find everything you’ve bought. How many times have you purchased a lot of gifts, only to realize that you have no idea where half of them are when you’re ready to start packing and labeling boxes? With plastic bins, you can denote a bin for each recipient. So let’s say you have a large extended family; maybe you have several brothers and sisters, and they have children and spouses too. You can put all the gifts for each sibling’s family members in separate, labeled boxes. That way when it comes time to get the boxes ready, everything you need for each address will be stored inside a single container, ready for gift-wrapping and packaging for the post office.

You can also use plastic bins to help you organize the gifts you’ve purchased for your immediate family. If you have children (especially more than one), it can be easy to get confused about which gifts you purchased for each of them, especially if they have similar requests for the holidays. One easy way to effortlessly keep track is to label plastic bins with the names of each child, and then use those bins to store their presents until you have the time to wrap and label them.
