If you enjoy crafting, one thing you probably don’t enjoy is the mess that often results from doing your craft. Usually your focus is on what you’re creating, and not on the mess forming all around you. You may put beads and other supplies back in random places because it feels convenient at the time—only to wonder later where on earth a certain item has gotten to. Here are some tips for how to organize your jewelry-making supplies neatly and effectively. There are a number of different ways you can organize supplies.

• By size. One scheme which can make it easier to find your beads is to organize them according to size. Instead of letting all your little seed beads slip between the cracks, why not put them in a plastic craft bin specifically designated to hold them? Then put your larger beads in other plastic storage containers appropriate to their size.
