Maybe you’re handy with a hammer or a saw, but how handy are you with your organizational scheme? Tools and workshops are holy places for many, but they can be tough to keep organized. Nothing is worse than losing a tool right when you need it, which is why it is helpful to spend some time organizing hand tools. Tool organization systems ensure that you will always be able to find that exact nut or bolt when you need it, and that the precious specialty tool you treasure won’t go missing in a cluttered garage or tool shed. Here are a few garage tool organization tips.

• Get yourself a pegboard for your most frequently used tools. The pegboard allows for quick, easy access. Use the pegboard for tools you don’t want to have to dig around for and that you want to be able to grab at a moment’s notice. A pegboard is one of the most essential organizational items you can purchase for any tool shed or garage.
