• Restroom and housekeeping supplies. Cleaning restrooms is an important aspect of janitorial work in any setting. If your facility is a hotel, you may need supplies like bath and shower mats. In public restrooms, baby-changing stations are an important convenience to provide. Your janitorial staff members can also benefit from toilet bowl brushes, mopping systems, and service carts while cleaning restrooms. Mops, brooms and dust pans can be wheeled conveniently around on janitorial service carts along with cleaning fluids. Housekeeping carts are ideal if you are in the hospitality business, and your staff members will be replacing bedding as well as cleaning bathrooms. Being able to move all these specialized supplies around easily and quickly reduces the amount of time it takes to get tedious, routine janitorial work completed.

• Stepstools and ladders. There are always going to be times when your janitors are cleaning that they need to reach up to change a light bulb, replace a battery in a smoke detector, or clean a stain off of a high wall. In these circumstances, a lightweight plastic stepstool or ladder can come in handy. Make sure to purchase a ladder which is safe and sturdy, but also easy to move, set up, and take down.
