Electronics may be your hobby or your job, but either way, you have to stay organized. For hobbyists in particular, keeping track of electronic parts can become tedious and overwhelming. You have to find a way to keep your parts sorted and accessible. Electronic parts storage solutions need to be based around your work area. If you don’t already have a work area set up, then that will be something to think about as you set up your workbench. What are the steps to organizing your workplace using electronic storage bins?

Oftentimes electronics hobby books advise people to purchase workbenches of a particular size. There is really no restriction on this, however—your workbench needs to provide you with ample space and be comfortable for you to work on, but it also needs to have plenty of space for your supplies. You’ll need to have storage space available for batteries, electronics, transistors and other small components as well as larger and small tools both above and below the bench.
