In 2013, the American Cancer Society estimates that around 232,340 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed. Around 64,640 cases of carcinoma in situ will be diagnosed. And the most harrowing statistics of all: 39,620 women will die from breast cancer this year. This terrible disease is the second most common cause of death for women in the United States, following lung cancer.

But the good news is that there are 2.9 million women in the United States who are breast cancer survivors. Some of these women are undergoing treatment, while others are in full remission and have completed their treatments. There is hope, thanks to organizations like the Susan G. Komen institute, founded in 1982 by Nancy G. Brinker as a promise to her sister, Susan G. Komen, who was dying of breast cancer.

Each year, companies around the world offer promotional products to aid the Susan G. Komen institute with their search for a cure. We are proud to offer one of the most versatile breast cancer awareness products this year. We are offering customers the chance to contribute to the search for a cure by purchasing any of 8 pink bins. A donation to the Susan G. Komen foundation has already been made for the sale of these 8 plastic bins.
