• Use plastic bins to help you organize your break room. Many break rooms include a surplus of supplies like plastic forks and knives which can be stored in small plastic bins. These are also good for single serve accessories and other coffee and tea related supplies. Many break rooms also include first aid supplies, which you can also organize with the help of clear plastic bins. Consider using red plastic bins for emergency supplies as well. Red is a bright, attention-grabbing color and has a medical connotation. You never know—choosing a smart organizational system for your first aid supplies could just make all the difference in the world someday.

• Plastic bins are also great for storing party supplies. You probably don’t bring these out all that often, except to send off employees who are departing or perhaps to celebrate major accomplishments in the office. Plastic supplies allow you to keep these supplies organized and out of the way the rest of the time, and make them easy to find when you do need them.
