As every artist knows, one byproduct of art is chaos. Art supplies are messy, and when you’re busy trying to create something, the last thing you may be paying attention to is how messy your surroundings are getting to be. After a while however this can take a toll on your creative process. Once you start having to search everywhere for paintbrushes, paints, pencils, charcoals, pastels and other supplies, it can become difficult to get anything done. How can you unclutter your art studio?

To organize your art studio effectively, you’re going to want to invest in some bins. A plastic storage bin system can help you to keep your supplies separate from each other and easy to locate, as well as keep your floor uncluttered. Plastic storage bins with lids are usually ideal for keeping supplies sorted, especially if you don’t have a large space at your disposal. Many artists work in small spaces like converted sheds; bins that seal give you some flexibility with space usage since you can stack them one on top of another.
