Crystalline mannequins are translucent and allow the light to shine through them in an eye-catching way. These mannequins are very neutral in their appearance, modern and sophisticated. They look great in a retail store with a lot of modern materials, and are great for catching attention when placed near a light source which can shine through them in an appealing way. These are perfect for holiday displays which use colorful lights, since the light will catch inside them and illuminate them. One nice thing about these mannequins is that you can get the same model over and over without things looking odd, whereas with realistic mannequins you need some variety.

Realistic male and female mannequins are excellent for selling clothing as well. When a figure looks more human, buyers have an easier time identifying with it, and with the idea of wearing the same clothing the mannequin is wearing. With these types of mannequins in particular, attention to placement matters. Try to set up your mannequins so that they not only look natural in their clothing, but also seem to be in a natural human context. Two mannequins placed near each other may give the impression that they are conversing or sharing an activity. This again makes them more relatable to shoppers, which makes them more likely to want to purchase the clothing they are showing off, or check out the clothing on the surrounding shelves.
