• Find ways to use color to draw attention to your merchandise. Is a particular color “in” this season? If you have a lot of clothing that is blue, for instance, think about setting up some blue wall hangings or curtains nearby. These will catch the eye and draw it to your blue merchandise. Or maybe it’s springtime so you are selling a lot of pastel colored clothing. Think about setting up hangings or ribbons nearby which include the same light springtime color scheme, or adding some decorative springtime elements like vases of flowers.

Starting with the basics helps you to save money which you can then use to purchase some special décor for your shop to help draw emphasis to your retail displays. Any retail shop, regardless of its creativity, is going to start with typical garment racks, wire shelving, and similar display items. By purchasing bulk retail displays, you can reduce your overall costs, and then spend more money on special retail furniture and other items which can make your displays visually appealing and aesthetically surprising. Uniting efficiency with creativity is the key to organizing and running an effective sales floor which generates sales and brings customers back time and again.
