One of the best places to start out is the kitchen. You spend a lot of time in the kitchen in all likelihood, and while you’re preparing dinner, there’s plenty of moving things around. It can take twice as long to prepare your meal if you don’t know where anything belongs, and it can also frustrate other members of your household who would prefer an intuitive kitchen setup design. Some people make their kitchens over completely to try and organize, though oftentimes all you really need is to purchase some plastic utensil trays and sort your utensils into the top drawers. Put cooking supplies you use less often in the drawers below, and the ones you use the least in the bottom drawers. Also buy some plastic storage containers for your bulk pantry items like flour and sugar to save more space and mess.
