Proper lighting can also help your jewelry photos to show up nicely. Look at your competitors’ photos and you will notice many of them are dim and blurry or grainy. These are shots taken indoors. Others may be so bright they are almost scalding; these were shot in harsh sunlight. Shoot your photos outdoors on a cloudy day, or hang a “tent” of thin material to diffuse bright sunlight over your jewelry displays so that you can get the warmth and shine of the sunlight without the glare. If you are shooting with special lights indoors, you may also find this diffusing technique helpful.

With jewelry display stands, you can show off your jewelry neatly and professionally, and give buyers online an idea of what a piece would look like when worn. The best shots will take colors, contrast and lighting into account for ideal results.
