Craft storage boxes are usually transparent, which has an immediate advantage since while you’re crafting you probably are reaching for new supplies regularly, and need to be able to find what you’re looking for quickly and easily. Having to set down a piece you’re working on in order to search for a supply can result in you losing the thread of your work (sometimes literally), and can make it more difficult to accomplish your purpose.

Portability is a great option in dividable bins if you like to do crafts in different parts of your home. Portable craft storage options such as carts with wheels can make it easy to move your crafting supplies to any location. This is much more convenient than having to pick up all your supplies by hand and move them individually, or run back and forth because you forgot something in the other room.
