One of the most popular products we stock is the Ultra stack and hang system. This includes the stack and hang bins along with the stack and hang shelf. Stack and hang storage bins come in a number of sizes, and fit perfectly on steel and wire shelving units designed to hold them. These bins are designed to hold inventory. Depending on where you work, that could mean many different things. Here are a few different uses for stack and hang bins:

1. Office inventory room. Stack and hang bins are the best supply you are going to find for your office supply room. Large stack and hang bins can hold larger supplies, like spare staplers and hole punchers, and smaller stack and hang bins can hold paperclips, erasers, pens, and more. It can be very challenging to keep supply rooms in order with so many people coming and going throughout the day, but stack and hang bins keep things simple. Keep the supplies people need the most within easy reach.

2. Hardware store organization. Stack and hang bins are likewise perfect for hardware storage, because they keep those small items from getting lost or mixed up (nuts and bolts, etc.). If you operate a hardware store, stack and hang bins can keep your inventory room as well as your sales floor organized. Customers will find it easy to browse through the parts they need if they are contained in stack and hang bins—and you will find they are easier to keep organized that way too. A stack and hang bin shelf can also be a great addition to your home garage if you are a serious hobbyist.

3. Electronics organization. Our ESD plastic containers are perfect for storing electronic components and keeping them safe from harmful static charge. Whether you are in manufacturing or sales, ESD stackable bins and trays are an indispensable organizational supply. You also may find conductive bins useful at home if you are an electronics hobbyist. In fact, they can be even more important in the home environment, which is not ideally suited to working with electronic components, and may have greater elements of static risk.

Stack and hang bins should not be confused with stackable bins that you place on the floor. Those bins do not always fit on shelves like the stack and hang bins do, though you may find them useful for other parts of your house (your kitchen pantry for example, or your bedroom closet). They may also be useful for different items in your inventory room in the workplace.

Before you order stack and hang bins and shelving, take stock of the inventory you need to store. Try to separate parts out into piles based on size, and then by type. That way you can figure out how many large, small, and medium storage bins you need. If you have fragile electronic components, it is essential to remember to look for conductive plastic when you are buying. Once you know what you need, you can purchase an efficient and versatile storage solution that is at once affordable and effective.
